King Arthur Classes
Burlington, WA
King Arthur has two class locations in the: their primary site in Vermont and a second location in Burlington, WA. Since I live near the Burlington site, I've attended several classes to enhance my skills in baking and bread making.
Baking Class
I don't have any formal culinary training and hold a in English Literature. However, after becoming a parent, I realized my cooking and baking skills were lacking, especially with my oldest being a picky eater. Through self-teaching and support from husband and friends, I discovered that there's a King Arthur baking school near my home state! I never expected to develop a passion for baking, but the more I delve into its science, the more I come to appreciate it!
Teaching kids at any age
What I value about the King Arthur classes is their focus on understanding the 'why' of baking. If you're like me, cooking and baking can seem intimidating, but knowing the reasons behind our kitchen actions has made it much less overwhelming. This understanding has also made it easier for me to teach my kids how to bake.
