RUSTIC TART CLASS
The Rustic Tart course was the first class I took in November 2022. King Arthur has only two locations where they teach classes, Vermont and Washington state. From my understanding, it's due to similar climate, vegetation growth, and organic lifestyle that both states share in common.

I love tarts, and this course taught us how to make both, sweet and savory. In this image, we made an Apple Galette.

The savory tart we made was a Prosciutto, Fig and Ricotta. The combination of the flavors were amazing. Perfect for a party!

I didn't take many pictures, since it was my first class; I was so eager to learn that I wanted to give my undivided attention. The class was not very long, about 3 hours, and most of it was learning about how fat (butter), flour and water work when combined to create a flaky crust.

After we baked our tarts, we boxed them up and were able to bring them home to share with our families!
